What is the Hoot Booth?
Hoot Booth is a fresh, new, innovative take on traditional photo booths in Calgary. It is a digital photo booth that uses a high-end digital camera and professional studio lighting to produce high-quality photo booth photos. Because it’s open-air, you can try to fit as many people as you can! And because it’s digital, you can take as many photos as you want!
How does it work?
The Hoot Booth is a touchscreen photo booth. When your guests are ready for their photo, they just need to touch the screen, and the booth will start counting down! You better be ready and slap on your best face.

Do you come early to setup?
Absolutely! We will arrive 30-45 mins before your booking start time to setup. We will have everything ready to go on time for you.
How long will it take before I can see my photo?
Half a second! Our photo booth has a screen and your photo will show up right after it’s taken. You won’t just take one after that!
I see that you offer a live photo projection. What’s the deal with that?
People love our live photo projection. Most Calgary venues have big screens and projectors with a static image when there are no presentations. We can make use of that by having the photos taken in the booth stream live to your event big screen! How cool is that?
How do I get my photo?
That depends on which booth you get. The InstaBooth provide prints instantly as well as immediate download to smartphones (wifi required). With the EconoBooth the will be uploaded to our gallery on this website the day after your event. All High-resolution photo downloads will ALWAYS be FREE. Your guests can also buy larger prints, buttons, cards, even mugs starting @ $2 if they wish to.
Can I bring my own props?
Absolutely, we encourage it!
What is the minimum space requirement for the Hoot Booth?
We require a space that is at least 8’ deep x 10’ wide x 7’ high within 12ft of a 110v power outlet.
What happens in case there’s a malfunction?

Can I get a book made of all the photos from the event?
Yes! We can custom design a photo book for you to commemorate your special event. Please inquire about prices.
How are the quality of the photos?
Our Hoot Booth was designed by a Calgary professional wedding photographer. He felt there was a need for photo booths to have better quality photos and lighting, especially. Our lighting is a professional studio strobe and we use a Nikon DSLR camera to get the best results. Not a point and shoot, or worse, a webcam with a puny flash. Your photos will rock, just like you!
