The YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) held an event for their members called Dine Around Calgary. After dinner, everyone met at Eau Claire Market, where the space was transformed into a night club! As people arrived, they stopped at The Hoot Booth to have their picture taken. We were happy to have been part of such a unique event!

Volunteer Calgary’s 16th Annual Leadership Awards gala was held at the BMO Centre in Stampede Park. Almost 500 guests were in attendance to recognize exceptional volunteers. The Hoot Booth was proud to be a part of such an important event. The guests enjoyed being in the photo booth, especially with the live projection feed!

The Hoot Booth was invited to a wedding reception in Coaldale, Alberta, located just outside of Lethbridge. Although it was a bitterly cold and snowy night, the reception was just the opposite: it was beach-themed! Dan and McKinley had a destination wedding in Mexico last December. Now they were celebrating back home and we were happy to commemorate their event! They and their guests had a great time in the Hoot Booth. They even tried to break the record for having the most people in the photo booth! Congrats to the happy couple!

The Hoot Booth was happy to be a part of Emma’s birthday party – our first birthday photo booth rental! Emma and her friends, as well as the adult chaperones alike, had a great time dressing up in our silly props and taking an unlimited amount of photos. We debuted our new projection add-on, where all of the photos that are taken in the Hoot Booth are projected on a big screen for all to see. This was great for generating even more traffic through the photo booth!

We had a chance to showcase the Hoot Booth at our very first trade show – the Calgary Wedding Fair at the BMO Centre. Our eye-catching display had everyone asking, “What is a Hoot Booth?”. After explaining how our photo booth was unique in its design, a lot of people agreed that the Hoot Booth was better than the competition! We offered an amazing show special and had a few couples book us on the spot! All in all, we thought that the Wedding Fair was a big success and hope to do more shows in the future.

We were excited to be a part of Chartwell Technology’s Christmas for a second year in a row! This year, they held it at the Ramada downtown Calgary and featured a masquerade theme.
